Jolt Capital, the European growth private equity firm specialising in B2B deeptech scaleups, has appointed Andrea Traversone as Managing Partner, bolstering its investment leadership as it kicks off commitments for its fifth fund, Jolt Capital V.
Traversone brings more than 25 years of experience in deeptech investing, having previously served as a senior partner at Amadeus Capital Partners and, most recently, as Managing Partner of the NATO Innovation Fund (NIF), which he helped establish in 2023. At NIF, he built a team of 30 professionals across Amsterdam, London, and Warsaw, managing relationships with over 20 institutional LPs and executing four of the fund’s first ten direct investments.
At Amadeus Capital, Traversone played a pivotal role in fundraising seven funds totaling more than $1bn, leading 20 investments with a combined deployment of $220m and several significant exits. He also oversaw multiple fund strategies, including the $400m Amadeus Growth and $110m Amadeus Digital Prosperity Fund.
Jolt Capital V has already secured major commitments, including a €260m contribution from the European Investment Fund, supporting the firm’s continued focus on scaling European deeptech companies.
Traversone holds a BSc in Economics, International Trade and Development from the London School of Economics and an MBA from Cambridge University.
